Adrienne De Mesa
(She/Her/Hers)
MSW, RSW
Hey, I’m Adrienne, and my pronouns are she/her.
I have been practicing as a Registered Social Worker since 2014 and hold both a Bachelor of Social Work (2014) and a Master of Social Work (2026) from the University of Manitoba. Over the past decade, I have worked alongside children, youth, and their families as they navigate life’s challenges and the systems that impact them.
Currently, I work as a Mental Health Clinician specializing in child and adolescent mental health, with a particular focus on supporting neurodivergent children, youth, and their families. My experience has deepened my understanding of the unique strengths, challenges, and perspectives that neurodivergent individuals bring, and I strive to provide care that is affirming, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs.
As a biracial, bicultural woman and the child of an immigrant parent, my own lived experiences have deeply shaped both who I am and how I practice. Navigating questions of identity, culture, belonging, and systemic barriers has given me a personal appreciation for the ways our social contexts influence our mental health and well-being. These experiences have fueled my commitment to anti-oppressive, culturally responsive practice. I recognize that every person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood in the fullness of their identities.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change. Whether I’m working with children, youth, or caregivers, I value relationships that foster trust, empowerment, and hope.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, and finding opportunities to recharge by challenging myself to try new things—experiences that help me stay grounded and present both personally and professionally.
If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step, and I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever brings you to therapy.
